　　Once upon a time, there was a mouse father. He wanted to marry his daughter to the greatestperson in the world.

　　很久很久以前，有一個老鼠爸爸。他想要把他的女兒嫁給世界上最偉大的人。

　　But, who was the greatest person in the world? Oh! The sun! He must be the greatest personin the world. The mouse father went to talk to the sun.

　　但是，誰是世界上最偉大的人呢?啊!是太陽!他一定是世界上最偉大的人。老鼠爸爸去找太陽談了談。

　　“Hello! Mr. Sun. I know you are the greatest person in the world. Would you marry mydaughter?”

　　“哈嘍!太陽先生，我知道你是世界上最偉大的人。您愿意娶我的女兒嗎?”

　　“What? I’m not the greatest person in the world. The greatest person is the cloud. If he comesout1, I’ll be covered.”

　　“什么?我可不是世界上最偉大的人。最偉大的人應(yīng)該是云。只要他一出來，我就會被遮住�！�

　　The mouse father went to talk to the cloud.

　　老鼠爸爸又去找云談。

　　“Hello! Mr. Cloud. I know you are the greatest person in the world. Would you marry mydaughter?”

　　“哈嘍!云先生，我知道你是世界上最偉大的人。您愿意娶我的女兒嗎?”

　　“What? I’m not the greatest person in the world. The greatest person is the wind. If he comesout, I’ll be blown away2.”

　　“什么?我才不是世界上最偉大的人呢!最偉大的人應(yīng)該是風(fēng)。只要他一刮起來，我就被吹的遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)的�！�

　　The mouse father went to talk to the wind.

　　老鼠爸爸又去找風(fēng)談。

　　“Hello! Mr. Wind. I know you are the greatest person in the world. Would you marry mydaughter?”

　　“哈嘍!風(fēng)先生，我知道你是世界上最偉大的人。您愿意娶我的女兒嗎?”

　　“What? I’m not the greatest person in the world. The greatest person is the wall. If he comesout, I’ll be stopped.”

　　“什么?我可不是世界上最偉大的人。最偉大的人應(yīng)該是墻。只要有他在，我就被擋住了�！�

　　The mouse father went to talk to the wall.

　　老鼠爸爸又去找墻談。

　　“Hello! Mr. Wall. I know you are the greatest person in the world. Would you marry mydaughter?”

　　“哈嘍!墻先生，我知道你是世界上最偉大的人。你愿意娶我的女兒嗎?”

　　“What? I’m not the greatest person in the world. The greatest person is YOU, the mouse.”

　　“什么?我才不是世界上最偉大的人呢!最偉大的其實是你們老鼠!”

　　“The greatest person in the world is … mouse?”

　　“世界上最偉大的人……是老鼠?”

　　“Yes, the greatest person in the world is mouse. See?3 If mouse comes out, I’ll be bit!”

　　“沒錯!世界上最偉大的人就是老鼠。想想看，只要你們一出現(xiàn)，我的身上就要被打洞!”

　　The mouse father was very happy. He finally knew mouse was the greatest person in the world.He would marry his daughter to the handsome mouse next door.

　　老鼠爸爸開心的不得了。他終于知道原來老鼠才是世界上最偉大的人。他決定要把自己的女兒嫁給隔壁英俊的鼠小弟。

　　They are very precious sea animals with long bodies.Theylive on fish, shrimps and so on.They are very clever. People often train them for performances which brings us a lot of happiness and joy.They are very friendly and peaceful. They never attack people. Instead, they have saved many people in danger.

　　Now,do you know what they are? Yes, you are right. They are dolphins.

Nowadays mastering a foreign language is very helpful in our daily life. I feel it a great honor to share my opinions about English learning with you. Secondly, we should try our best to read more English newspapers and magazines after class, which helps to improve our reading abilities. Besides, TV programmes are of great help to us. Last but not least, it’s necessary for us to communicate with foreign friends as much as possible and increase our awareness of foreign cultures, which can also help to improve our English. 　　幾年前，我住在一個小鎮(zhèn)的一幢建筑物中。對面有另一幢建筑物，離我住的地方只有幾米遠(yuǎn)。那里住著一個我以前從未見過的女人。每天下午我都能見到她坐在窗戶邊，喝茶或者看書。

　　幾個月后，我發(fā)現(xiàn)她的`窗戶太臟了，通過她家窗戶看到的一切都很模糊。我不知道那個女人為什么不把窗戶洗洗。

　　一個陽光燦爛的上午，我決定徹底清理一下我的公寓，包括清洗窗戶。我一直忙到下午很遲才完成，然后，我坐在窗邊小憩。多么令人驚訝��！那個坐在窗戶邊的女人一下子變得清晰了！她的窗戶是干凈的！突然，我意識到我犯了一個錯誤。原來我一直在通過自家的臟窗戶看她！

　　那對我來說是一個很重要的教訓(xùn)。從那以后，無論我什么時候想要判斷一個人，我首先問問自己，“我看他時，我心靈之窗是否骯臟？”然后，我努力洗凈我內(nèi)心世界的窗戶，只有這樣我才能看清外面的世界。

　　圣誕節(jié)和元旦快到了，大家是不是又惦記著我們學(xué)校一年一度的英語節(jié)了呢？雖然我們學(xué)校的校名有所變化，但是我們朱校長倡導(dǎo)的八大主題文化節(jié)一直被傳承著，因為他們已經(jīng)成為了我們校園文化中的不可或缺的部分了。

　　還記得去年的英語節(jié)嗎？大家穿越于各國風(fēng)情中，留影于紅地毯上。今年的英語節(jié)的迎新慶典活動又不期而至啦。下周三下午，我們?nèi)熒謱⒁黄饸g樂，一起迎新，一起慶祝。

　　但今年又與以往不同。因為今年我們學(xué)校的雙語皮影在上海市大中小學(xué)生中華優(yōu)秀文化主題月系列活動中，分別榮獲上海市“我是非遺小傳人”團體金獎、上海市“非遺”進(jìn)校園十佳傳習(xí)基地稱號。因此，皮影將成為這次慶典活動的主角。我們不僅會欣賞到我們學(xué)生新編的皮影劇，還會看到我們學(xué)生跳的皮影操，除此之外，我們還將邀請閔行區(qū)其他學(xué)校的皮影表演。同時，我們還會邀請來區(qū)教育局的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)和兄弟學(xué)校們的校長。我相信我們學(xué)校的皮影戲?qū)⒃趥鞒兄械玫桨l(fā)揚，在創(chuàng)新中得到延續(xù)。

　　下周三下午的慶典活動結(jié)束后，從14:30到15:30又是我們的班級游園活動，大家是不是很期待？為了讓活動更精彩、豐富，這幾天就需要大家齊心協(xié)力，幫助班主任一起布置教室，一起做好各項準(zhǔn)備工作。

　　大家都知道英語節(jié)不單單是最后的一次慶典活動，在這一個月里，我們各個年級都開展了各項英語活動。上周四，我們利用晨讀時間舉行了“英語美文背誦比賽”，這也是我校第七屆“英語節(jié)”重要活動之一。獲得本次“英語美文背誦比賽”的優(yōu)勝獎的班級是：一二年級組：二1班；三四年級組：四4班；五六年級組：五3班；七八年級組：七1班。讓我們?yōu)檫@些優(yōu)勝班級表示熱烈的祝賀。

　　now i am a junior student, and i like studying, my not best in our class, but i still think i am a good student. my teacher think also!

　　can you imagine how difficult i will, when i meet a problem in english, and i am not perfect one in my class, i do not like english at the very beginning for i know nothing about english which is only task from school and my parents, i am not good boy at that time.

　　but, you know, i am really want learn something now, i want keep up with the so-called mainstream, i want to be a good student. can you imagine how difficult when i face the simple english, i just know nothing. however, in this most difficult and key moment , english teacher ms x come to me, she understand me i suppose, she pay much more time in this english poor level boy, i want to say thank you my teacher.

　　what do you think is the most important thing in our life?

　　some people think time is the most important thing in our life. some people think money is the most important thing in our life. some people think friendship is the most important thing in our life. but i think health is the most important thing in our life.

　　we live in this world, maybe there are many beautiful things. we can get something again and again, such as love, friendship, money and so on. but if we lose health, we can never get it back again. if you are in poor health, you will not feel these things and the world is always gray in your eyes. it’ s really serious.

　　just as a saying goes, “where there is health, there is hope. where there is hope,there is everything. ”so we can see that health is above everything. but how can we keep in good health? as we know, health lies in a good habit.healthy food and water are important for us to keep healthy. different food helps us in different ways.what’s more，get up early and keep doing exercise in the morning every day.

　　besides these, taking exercise helps us build a strong body. it is the most important. so having a healthy lifestyle is very important for everyone. there’s an old saying gose like this “an apple a day, keeps the doctor away.” it’s true. once you lost health ,you will get nothing. so,my dear friends ,please realize that health is the most important for us .
