Yes, just like what you see in the title, Ethan is my first friend in America. You may think that I already lived in Los Angeles for more than half year, how could I just get one friend. I may not good at being friend with others but you know that was so hard to get a real friend when you get into a new place. He's the first person that who I really want to talk with.
In America, one of the important things to know that you are friends is did you go to your friend's house or did he or she go to your house. Unlike in China, teachers even say don't go to others' houses after school. For this reason, I invited Ethan to my house on Friday.
In fact, at first our plan was meet at the cinema at 6:10 then go watch the movie of "Avengers." But when my mom got this plan she says why don't I let him come to our house have a great dinner and she will send us to the cinema. Actually, I thought about it before but sometimes I was a little shy so I denied it by myself, now my mom support me so I decided to invite Ethan to my house. As quickly as I can, I sent a message to Ethan to invite him. Unexpected, he sent a "Sure" to my phone in 5 minutes when I sent the invitation to him. Those things happened on Thursday, May 3rd.
The next day, Firday, I talked with Ethan about the detailed of today's plan and made sure that he will came to our house by himself at 4:00 then we have dinner and go watch the movie at 6:00. I was so excited, because it was the first that I go out with my classmate after school. Hopefully, the time will faster.
About 3:00, I arrived my house and began to prepare food because I said I will make fried rice for him. I finished prepare before 4.
It was 4, but Ethan didn't arrive, I was affrid that he may forget it but I was not correct, soon, Ethan arrived my house with his mom. Of course his mom won't stay here, so after we said "Bye" to his mom we began to think about what can we do. My house was leasing, so we didn't buy anything if it's hard to carry, like Wii, Xbox or PS3... And that's means no vedio games at mu house... The only thing that we can play it's mu laptop. Than I remembered taht Ethan said he like Japanese cartoons, so I just told him to watch some cartoons. I know that was like a little boring but... Or you may help me to ask my mom for a Wii or something like that, PSP it's ok,too~
About 15 mintues later my mom came back from adult school, so, I began to make my homemade fried rice. When I was cooking, Ethan was standing beside me. First, I put down the cooking oil, when the oil was boiling, I put down the rice, than eggs, vagetables, even shrimps. Soon, It was time to put seasoninng, I asked Ethan what he want to put, I gave him two choices: soy sauce or salt. He picked the soy sauce and the soy sauce made the rice become dark, and you even couldn't know there were vagetables in the fried rice if you don't look carefully.
After the perfect dinner, it was time to go to watch the movie "Avengers." My mom sent we to the cinema first. This time we went to a cinema which one is farther than the closest one. Went to this far cinema because Ethan said that was much cheaper than that closest cine
When we arrived the cinema, it was already 6:20, so we walked a little faster to the cinema and bought the ticket, the 6:45 one. We saw many super heros in that movie, we all thought that was a really good movie and most people have the same thought as us. The movie was more than 2 hours, so when we finished it was already 9:10 and I called my mom to let her send my friend back to his own house.
What a perect night, I enjoied dinner and movie with my American firend!
