主先生，我懷著非常愉快的心情出席本屆年會(huì)。值此大會(huì)開幕之際，我為能有機(jī)會(huì)就和平與發(fā)展問題進(jìn)行發(fā)言謹(jǐn)向東道主致以深深的謝意。與此同時(shí)我向所有與會(huì)代表致以崇高的'敬意。Mr. Chairman, it is a great pleasure that I am here to attend this annual meeting. On the occasion of this opening ceremony, I would like to express my deep appreciation to the host for this opportunity to adress the topic of peace and development and pay my highest respect for all the reprasentatives present at the meeting.

　　這次會(huì)議為我們交換意見，消除誤解，達(dá)成共識(shí)提供了理想的場(chǎng)所。我愿借此機(jī)會(huì)就世紀(jì)之交建立一種世界政治與經(jīng)濟(jì)新格局，世界和平與發(fā)展的前景以及聯(lián)合國的作用等問題闡述我國政府的立場(chǎng)和觀點(diǎn)。This meeting provides us with an ideal arena where we will exchange views, clear misunderstandings and reach common ground. I would like to take this opportunity to elaborate on the positions and views of my government on the issues concerning the establishment of a new international political and economic order at the turn of this century, the prospect of world peace and development and the role of the united nations.
